Terms of Use

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply when you use GigTics, provided by GigTics (ABN 49 498 059 061). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

What GigTics does, and doesn't do

GigTics helps you keep your income and expense records and prepares the BAS figures it supports: G1 (total sales), 1A (GST on sales) and 1B (GST on purchases), in Australian dollars.

  • GigTics does not lodge your BAS or pay the ATO. You lodge through an official ATO channel or your tax professional.
  • GigTics does not provide tax, financial or legal advice and does not replace a registered tax or BAS agent. Figures are prepared from the records and answers you give.
  • Prepared figures are not the same as a lodged BAS. Check your figures before you lodge, and get professional advice if you are unsure about your situation.

Your account

  • GigTics is for Australian sole traders aged 18 or over. Each account holds one business.
  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in secure and tell us at support@gigtics.au if you think someone else has used your account.

Your records and files

  • You are responsible for the records, files and answers you add, and for keeping the original records the ATO requires. GigTics is not a substitute for keeping them.
  • Your records stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide GigTics to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Only upload files you are entitled to use, and don't upload anything unlawful or harmful.
  • When you mark a quarter as lodged, its records are locked and can't be changed in GigTics. Contact support if something needs correcting.

Plans and payments

  • You can start with a free preview, which has limits on the number of records and files.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance in Australian dollars, including GST, through Stripe, and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time in Plan & billing. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period and does not renew.
  • Paid plans include a quarterly allowance for automatic file reading. If you reach it, you can still enter details yourself until the allowance resets.
  • We will give you notice before any price change applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it does.
  • Except where the law requires a refund, payments for a billing period that has started are not refunded.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse GigTics. For example, don't try to access other people's accounts, interfere with the service, get around plan limits, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep GigTics available and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features over time. If a change significantly reduces what your paid plan includes, we will tell you first.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, GigTics is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide, figures you lodge without checking, or decisions you make based on GigTics. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Account settings, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Download your account data and any quarter CSVs you need first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or in GigTics before they take effect. If you keep using GigTics after that, the updated terms apply.

Governing law and contact
